Job Title: Solution Architect (Java, Spring Boot & AWS) Location: Remote Duration: / Term: 6+ months Job Description: Experience Desired: 8+ Years Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solution Architect with deep technical expertise in Java Spring Boot and AWS, who can also take on Product Owner (PO) responsibilities. This hybrid role requires a unique blend of technical leadership and product vision to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities: Technical Architecture • Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java Spring Boot and AWS services • Define microservices architecture, integration patterns, and deployment strategies • Lead technical decision-making and ensure alignment with enterprise standards • Oversee database design and optimization, especially with Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL) Product Ownership • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and backlog • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and technical feasibility • Act as the primary liaison between business, development, and QA teams Delivery & Leadership • Guide development teams through implementation, testing, and deployment • Ensure CI/CD pipelines are efficient and aligned with DevOps best practices • Conduct code reviews, performance assessments, and technical mentoring • Monitor application performance and drive continuous improvement Required Skills & Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in Java development, with strong expertise in Spring Boot • Proven experience architecting solutions on AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudFormation) • Solid understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning • Experience in Agile methodologies and working as a Product Owner • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications • AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack) Key Skills: Java Spring Boot, AWS services, REST APIs, Product Owner
