Are you ready to move the world forward? Apply now. Essential Functions: Responsible for loading and/ unloading of materials on box trucks and flatbeds. Maintain quality and quantity receive materials into the building. Ensure all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely. Performs cycle counts; counts and verifies inventory stock. Coordinates the efforts of the cycle counts in an effort to identify and correct discrepancies as needed. Resolves inventory discrepancies and investigate cause for inventory irregularities, including reporting out to internal departments on discrepancies as needed. Maintains strong working relationships and communications with internal stakeholders. Maintains cycle count records. Stocks physical inventory using a forklift. Identifies and champions opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savings projects for his/her area of responsibility. 100% on Production Floor. Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work both in a non-temperature controlled environment and outdoors. Other duties as required and/or assigned. The employee must maintain a safe and productive work environment producing a quality product which is shipped complete and on time to satisfy the needs of the customer. Ability to work with wood and small hand tools such as tape measures, saws, drills, riveters, and nail guns. The employee has a direct impact on safety, quality, productivity, TME (total manufacturing expenses), and customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment desired. Clerical experience and knowledge of Microsoft products is a must The employee is responsible for own work. Must be able to work with other employees to complete job. The employee must maintain a safe and productive work environment producing a quality product which is shipped complete and on time to satisfy the needs of the customer. This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor. Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions using independent judgment, discretion, and initiative in performing job duties. General office skills to include experience with office machinery, (copiers, printers, scanners, computers) and appropriate office etiquette. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize workload and keep an organized work area. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment subject to specific deadlines which must be met with accuracy and attention to detail. Acceptable prior performance and attendance record. Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications: Associate’s degree or 1 – 3 years of experience in inventory related position is required Experience using an ERP or MRP system. Familiar with engineering drawings. Familiarity with general shop practices. The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions. The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner. Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results. Must have a high awareness for safety at all times.
