This role involves creating and maintaining documentation for cybersecurity sensing capabilities, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to established policies and standards. The Technical Writer will work within an ITIL framework and support various tasks, including software/hardware integration, data tagging, and project management. Responsibilities Draft memos, briefings, and reports to support the business processes of the sensing programs. Assist in establishing repeatable processes, SOPs, and Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures within the ITIL framework. Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). Provide release and build documentation. Create various documents such as white papers and analysis of alternatives. Prepare briefing slides and draft demonstration scripts for sensing solutions. Document meeting minutes for official meetings. Contribute to the development of a sensing Lab Concept of Operations (CONOPS). Qualifications Active DoD Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ years’ experience in a DoD or federal environment with creating and maintaining technical documentation, including reports, manuals, and briefings. Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with DISA programs, cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, RMF), and DoD documentation requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Adobe Acrobat). Ability to interpret technical diagrams, system architectures, and workflows. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Posted Min Pay Rate Posted Max Pay Rate Salary Disclosure Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
