Full Description

Position Announcement Utah Valley University is seeking a student to assist the Student Life department! Summary of Responsibilities • Design and create digital and print materials (primarily advertisements) for the office of Student Leadership and Involvement • Coordinate assigned publication from conception to final product. • Design original projects that meet client specifications and promote a positive image of the department. • Generate artistically creative designs using Adobe Creative Suite. • Inspect projects to suggest improvements and adherence to UVU graphic standards and avoid copyright infringement. Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications • Must be a current UVU student. • Knowledge of graphic design and the creative process. • Skill in computers and computer applications, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, etc. • Skill in graphic design, page layout, and photo manipulation. Preferred Qualifications • Proficiency with After Effects. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities • Knowledge of computer programs and applications and ability to create a variety of printed materials. • Skilled in advertisements for events, campaigns, and projects. • Skilled in basic marketing strategies. • Ability to design and create printed materials. • Ability to follow through from conception to completion of multiple design jobs with little supervision. • Ability to communicate with clients regarding specifications of projects.
