This position will be located in Walkersville, MD. What this job involves: The Soft Services Manager (SSM) will have a primary focus on client customer service. SSM will manage and maintain overall site service, performance, processes, and quality standards for all soft services which may include but are not limited to cleaning/custodial, security, landscaping, snow removal, trash and recycling, pest control, and mail/shipping. The SSM will strive towards innovation of services offered, assist with lowering cost of delivery, and work with suppliers to integrate the service into operations while dramatically enhancing the customer experience. What your day-to-day will look like: Directly manage 3rd party soft service providers including but not limited to janitorial, security, landscaping, snow removal, trash & recycling, pest control, and mail/shipping Directly manage the JLL Maintenance Associate team that provides mail/shipping and light maintenance services Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with our client and interface with the site Property Manager to ensure acceptable service levels are maintained for in-scope services Manage the JLL and Client soft service budget and provide financial reporting as required Assist in vendor contract development and procure goods and services through JLL and Client systems Process JLL and Client requisitions and POs and receipt invoices upon delivery or completion of work Solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and customer service focus Work closely with the site Facility Manager on day-to-day operations and assist the Account Director in planning the team's goals and objectives Utilize the site CMMS (Corrigo) system and work closely with the Corrigo Program Analyst to maintain/optimize the system Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Financial acumen to manage budgets for projects and operations Strong organizational and time management skills, and adaptability to work in fast-paced, changing environments Preferred Qualifications: Strong working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Experience with CMMS systems (preferably Corrigo) Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to analyze reports for the purpose of ensuring compliance with scope of work Self-motivated and ability to work independently Process improvement mindset Estimated compensation for this position: 100,000.00 – 112,200.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
