What this job involves This position will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency while driving financial performance and operational excellence. Supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals and financial targets. This role requires strong financial acumen, including P&L management, contract negotiation, and margin optimization. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and leadership qualities are a must. Having the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of teams and client stakeholders. What is your day to day? Ability to lead and manage team members Client relationship management with contract stakeholders and client business units Financial performance monitoring and P&L management Support with and, where appropriate, handling of contract negotiations Margin optimization Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reporting to support operational decision-making Adhere to account KPI's Problem solving and organizational Skills Team player and motivator Contract management compliance Allegiance to the company and its team members Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service Develops, implements, and maintains warehouse procedures Responsible for planning activities related to the warehouse material control, inventory control, and audit Develop and propose plans to improve controls Coordinate with management and employees to resolve materials related issues Resolve any arising problems or complaints Coordinate full order cycle Supervise, motivate, train warehouse and client workflow Recruit and train talent Logistics Management Coordination of domestic and international shipments Validating shipments to shipment documentation for 100% accuracy of shipment Analyze data for accuracy Warehouse Operations Management Managing OPEX Expenses and Invoicing Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports including cost analysis, margin reports, and budget variance analysis Managing warehouse daily schedules including opening and closing Oversee annual facility operations; coordinating with landlord and third party vendors Accurate time record keeping and monthly billing Inventory Management Financial impact analysis of inventory management decisions Data Analysis and Financial Reporting Maintaining accurate inventory records with 98% accuracy Financial Management & Reporting Develop, implement, and maintain financial reporting frameworks to optimize operational performance Analyze financial data to identify cost reduction opportunities and margin improvement initiatives Prepare comprehensive P&L analysis and present findings to senior management Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to maximize profitability Monitor and report on key financial metrics including cost per unit, margin analysis, and budget performance Desired experience and technical skills Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field 3+ years proven work experience in operations management with demonstrated financial responsibility Strong understanding of P&L management, margin analysis, and financial reporting Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel skills required), SAP and other applications Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written, and interpersonal abilities Can multi-task on many projects and meet deadlines Strong organizational, planning and scheduling skills Preferred: MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Operations Management Professional certification in supply chain or operations management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) Trade show logistics experience Forklift certified Stand and move for longer periods of time and lift heavy materials (up to 40 lbs.) Estimated compensation for this position: 143,000.00 – 175,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
