5+ years experience with micrometers, calipers, production supervision, knowledge of cGMP and HACCP, mechanical aptitude, and ability to operate or learn forklift.
Direct Hire | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate daily tube milling operations to meet production targets and quality standards. • Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure optimal scheduling and resource allocation. • Monitor machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance. • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality tubes. • Conduct regular inspections of finished products to verify compliance with specifications. • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any quality-related issues. • Lead and motivate a team of tube mill operators, providing guidance and support as needed. • Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of production personnel. • Foster a positive and safety-conscious work environment. • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements. • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement technological advancements in tube milling processes. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational effectiveness. • Communicate production goals, expectations, and performance metrics to the team. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, logistics, and quality assurance, to achieve common objectives. • Report regularly to upper management on production progress and challenges. Skills: • Strong knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) • Skilled in fabricating, assembling, and disassembling equipment as needed • Proficient in using hand tools such as calipers and micrometers • Experienced in sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment • Solid basic math skills for inventory management and production calculations • Experience in metal production or related manufacturing industries preferred • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices • Familiar with forklift operation or willing to learn • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
