University of Houston is hiring a Functional Analyst 2 - Technology Services & Support. The role involves process analysis and design by coordinating with technical and functional staff, supporting Microsoft Copilot implementations, and assisting departments and faculty with AI-related technology solutions. Highlights • Perform complex system process analysis, design, and simulation within the university's business systems and state regulations. • Analyze and redesign current processes while recommending improvements to policies and procedures. • Coordinate programming requirements with technical staff and communicate resolutions with functional teams. • Integrate new processes with existing ones and identify training needs for end-users. • Lead support for AI-related technologies, particularly Microsoft Copilot implementations for business process automation and teaching resource development. • Recommend testing strategies and acceptance criteria. • Required skills include project management, strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities. • Minimum qualifications: a relevant 4-year degree or equivalent specialized training with at least one year of job-related experience. • Salary range: $81,400 - $92,600. • Position requires a criminal history check due to access to critical infrastructure under Texas Executive Order No. GA-48.
