Key Responsibilities • Assist in delivering high-quality food and dining experiences. • Support dietitians in maintaining “inspection-ready” standards. • Monitor sanitation, safety, and maintenance protocols. • Maintain positive relationships with residents and families. • Conduct meal observations, satisfaction surveys, and test trays. • Ensure staff follow proper serving techniques and dietary guidelines. • Track resident movements and diet changes before meal ticket printing. • Lead daily pre-meal meetings and communicate menu details. • Generate and manage reports (e.g., Geri Menu, thickened liquids, feeding devices). • Monitor refrigerator temperatures and dining room conditions. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Minimum 1 year of supervised food service experience in a healthcare setting. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Physical Demands • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. • Manual dexterity to operate office and kitchen equipment. • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. • May be required to remain in a stationary or seated position for extended periods. • Use of sensory skills to communicate effectively via phone and in person. Non-Physical Demands • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. • Adaptability to changing environments and schedules. • Reliable, dependable, and responsive to feedback. Work Schedule Early mornings and/or late evenings may be required. The Food Services Supervisor supports the Director of Food Services in overseeing daily operations to ensure quality food service and nutritional care for residents, staff, and guests. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, sanitary, and resident-centered dining experience while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Per Diem (8 hrs/week) NON-UNION position
