Inventory Control Specialist / Inventory Clerk We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control professional with strong cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and warehouse systems knowledge. Warehouse or shipping experience alone does not qualify—candidates must have true Inventory Control experience. Position Summary The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing warehouse inventory through accurate physical counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities. This role ensures that all materials are properly verified and reflect true on-hand quantities. Responsibilities include supporting inventory-related projects such as put-away, replenishment, organization, and consolidation using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, totes, computers, and handheld scanning devices. The position must uphold company standards for safety, inventory accuracy, efficiency, and productivity. Key Responsibilities • Perform cycle counts using various methods (by location, ABC classification, product type, zone, finished goods, parts, scheduled/on-demand, etc.). • Monitor and count inventory to maintain 99%+ accuracy. • Identify root causes of inventory or sales order discrepancies and support corrective actions. • Locate or investigate missing/misplaced items using WMS tools. • Execute replenishment using WMS and material-handling equipment. • Assist with inventory put-away, consolidation, and movement. • Maintain clean, organized inventory locations. • Perform other warehouse-related tasks as needed.
