We are seeking a Material Handler who will be responsible for ensuring the correct components are brought to each station on the assembly line in the right quantity at the right time. Essential Functions: • Prepare parts for production orders by cell use. • Count and verify all parts for production orders. • Print installation instructions for production orders. • Create and print various labels needed for production orders. • Communicate material shortages related to production orders to the lead/supervisor. • Communicate quality issues to various internal departments. • Submit production tickets using JIRA and/or email. • Cooperate with the lead/supervisor to implement changes in the assembly area. • Participate in process improvement activities, including 5S. • Ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out of the assembly department. • Re-stock parts in the production line. • Responsible for following the production schedule. • Responsible for training new assemblers. • Inspect parts for damages. • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and BOMs. • Perform other job duties as assigned. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an assembly/production environment. • Able to use computers and software-based applications, such as Microsoft Suite. • Experience with SAP/MRP systems, a plus. • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; bilingual is a plus. • Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent time management skills. • Able to work in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment. • Must be available to work overtime, including at the end of the month. • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident (no Visa sponsorship available).
