They are seeking a Senior AI Engineer – LLM & Agentic Systems to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions that utilize large language models and agentic AI architectures. Responsibilities • Architect robust, modular LLM pipelines including prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, fine-tuning, and orchestration. • Design and implement autonomous agents capable of reasoning, tool use (e.g., APIs, plugins), and long-horizon task planning. • Own the full lifecycle of AI systems from prototyping through deployment, observability, and optimization. • Evaluate and integrate emerging frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel) to build next-gen agentic capabilities. • Ensure performance, safety, and traceability across LLM applications in production environments. • Lead cross-functional collaboration with data science, platform engineering, and product teams to embed AI into core workflows. • Stay ahead of research and ecosystem trends to drive technical innovation and strategic differentiation. • Other duties as assigned Skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field; PhD is a plus. • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including 2+ years focused on LLMs or NLP-based systems. • Deep understanding of transformer models, prompt strategies, embeddings, fine-tuning, and RAG pipelines. • Strong software and systems engineering skills, including experience in designing APIs, distributed systems, and production-grade services. • Proficient in Python and leading AI frameworks such as Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI, PyTorch, and Ray. • Experience with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and agentic orchestration frameworks. • Proven ability to ship LLM-based products at scale in enterprise or SaaS environments (on-prem or cloud). • Familiar with secure deployment, prompt injection mitigation, and responsible AI principles. • Occasional travel required for department meetings, all company events, in-person seminars/networking events, etc. • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations. • Experience building multi-agent or tool-using systems for automation or decision-making. • Familiarity with reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, or memory-augmented agents. • Prior contributions to open-source agentic AI frameworks or research papers in generative AI. • Track record of mentoring junior engineers and guiding architectural decisions. • Food & Beverage and Supplements industry experience a plus, but not required.
