About Us We are a growing real estate investment company managing a portfolio of ~70 scattered-site residential units in Cincinnati. We are committed to providing safe, clean, and well-maintained homes for our residents. As we grow, we’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our in-house team and help us deliver high-quality service and care to our properties. Position Overview The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance tasks across our portfolio, including groundskeeping, cleaning, general repairs, responding to tenant work orders, and completing unit turns, and showings for leasing. This is a field-based role requiring a self-motivated, reliable professional who takes pride in their work and communicates clearly. Key Responsibilities • Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, HVAC, light electrical, carpentry, drywall, etc.) • Complete tenant work orders in a timely and professional manner • Handle apartment turns, including painting, punch list completion, and deep cleaning • Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of exterior grounds and common areas • Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, lawn mowing, and leaf cleanup • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs • Maintain inventory of basic tools and supplies • Communicate effectively with tenants, property manager, and vendors Requirements • 4+ years of maintenance experience in residential properties or similar • Valid driver’s license • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks • Basic smartphone proficiency for managing work orders and communication • Strong work ethic and customer service mindset Preferred Qualifications • Experience with scattered-site multifamily portfolios • HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certifications a plus • Familiarity with maintenance software (Buildium) a bonus Compensation & Benefits • Mileage reimbursement when using personal vehicle • 30 - 40 hours / week of work • Opportunity to grow with a scaling company Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.17 - $27.90 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
