Job Overview The Sr Supply Chain Planner at T-Mobile is instrumental in optimizing the flow of products and materials to meet strategic business objectives. They develop and implement supply chain policies and inventory control systems, ensuring materials are available to meet production demands while maintaining cost efficiency. By leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders, they enhance supply chain processes and align them with organizational goals. Their expertise in complex data analysis and vendor management supports robust forecasting and risk mitigation strategies. Through their leadership, they drive improvements in supply chain performance, contributing significantly to the operational excellence of T-Mobile. Job Responsibilities: • Develops and implements supply chain policies and inventory control systems to ensure material availability meets production demands • Leads cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain processes and align them with organizational goals • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to optimize the flow of products and materials • Analyzes complex data to support forecasting and risk mitigation strategies • Manages vendor relationships to ensure strategic business objectives are met • Drives improvements in supply chain performance to contribute to operational excellence Education and Work Experience: • Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required) • 2-4 years - Experience in supply chain planning, including inventory and demand planning in a telecom or related industry required. • 2-4 years - Experience in developing and implementing supply chain policies and inventory control systems required. • 2-4 years - Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain processes required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Supply Chain Management- Expertise in developing and implementing supply chain policies and inventory control systems. (Required) • Data Analysis- Ability to perform complex data analysis to support forecasting and risk mitigation strategies. (Required) • Vendor Management- Skills in managing vendor relationships and enhancing supply chain processes through effective collaboration. (Required) • Strategic Thinking- Capability to align supply chain processes with organizational goals and strategic business objectives. (Required) • Microsoft Excel- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for handling, analyzing, and presenting data effectively. (Required) • Problem Solving -Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions within the supply chain. (Required) • Communication- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and aligning team efforts. (Required) • Cross Functional Relationships- Ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships to enhance supply chain operations. (Required) Licenses and Certifications: • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification provided by APICS that validates expertise in supply chain management and operations. (Preferred) • Supply Chain Management (CPIM) Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM): Certification from APICS that demonstrates knowledge in production and inventory management, enhancing efficiency in the supply chain. (Preferred) • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) that indicates expertise in supply management and procurement. (Preferred) • At least 18 years of age • Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel: Travel Required (Yes/No): No DOT Regulated: DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No): No Safety Sensitive Position (Yes/No): No Downers Grove, IL Compensation Range: $73,500 - $99,500.00 Base Pay Range: $61,300 - $110,500 Corporate Bonus Target: 10% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
