Job Description: We are seeking an experienced freelancer to manage payroll, visas, and employee benefits for the U.S. subsidiary of one of our clients. This role is crucial to ensure compliance with local regulations and to effectively handle all HR-related processes in the United States. The assignment is for a fixed term, with the possibility of extension based on the future needs of the subsidiary. Workload: 2.5 days per week equivalent spreaded over the week Responsibilities: U.S. Payroll Management: • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all U.S.-based employees. This includes managing various compensation categories (fixed salaries, bonuses, commissions, etc.), tax withholdings, and social contributions in compliance with federal and state laws. Benefits Administration: • Administer employee benefits programs for the U.S. subsidiary, including health insurance, paid leave, retirement plans, and other perks. Ensure all programs comply with U.S. legal and regulatory requirements and coordinate relationships with service providers. Required Skills and Experience: • Expertise in U.S. Payroll: Solid experience in managing payroll in accordance with U.S. federal and state legislation. • Benefits Management: Experience in managing employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. • Compliance and Regulation: Strong understanding of regulations related to payroll, immigration, and employee benefits in the U.S. (IRS, ACA, etc.). • Tools and Software: Proficiency in HR management tools such as ADP, Workday, Gusto, etc. Desired Personal Qualities: • Autonomy and the ability to manage complex HR processes in a rigorous and methodical manner. • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English, to work effectively with internal and external teams. • Team spirit and flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
