Job Title: Office Assistant Pay: $18-$20/hour based on experience Schedule: • Day shift (in-office) • Flexible hours • Part-time with the potential for full-time • Monday - Thursday About Us: We’re a creative, high-end personal chef and prepared meal service with a passion for fresh ingredients, nourishing food, and thoughtful service. Our office is the heartbeat behind the kitchen, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant who can help our operations run as smoothly as our sauces. If you love a well-organized spreadsheet as much as a well-seasoned dish, this role is your perfect pairing! Position Overview: This part/full-time position begins with a 90-day paid training period as a contractor. Upon successful training completion, you will have the opportunity to become a permanent employee. We’re seeking someone who is: • Meticulous and organized • A clear communicator • Comfortable supporting a dynamic culinary team • Passionate about the process (and maybe a little passionate about food, too!) Key Responsibilities: Daily & Weekly Tasks: • Track staff punches and enter payroll data • Prepare daily client menus and service questionnaires • Process payments and file receipts • Maintain and update company websites and mailing lists • Keep our inbox and records neat, accurate, and up-to-date Monthly, Seasonal & Annual Tasks: • Pay bills and manage office calendars • Handle licensing renewals and coordinate inspections • Onboarding paperwork, maintain employee information • Maintain recipe binders and assist with seasonal menu updates • Office prep for holidays, staff birthdays, and special events • Rotate and archive recipe menus • Update ingredient lists, inventory sheets, and packaging records • Help maintain culinary checklists, order logs, and labels You’ll Thrive Here If You: • Double-check your work and love keeping systems orderly • Enjoy working independently • Love supporting a team • Enjoy being creative, and can also handle logistics • Show attention to detail Compensation & Benefits: 90-Day Training Period: • Flexible schedule • Relaxed dress code • 1-2 staff meals per week (each meal is 2 servings of a main dish and a side) • Access to discounts at various retailers After 90 Days: • PTO accrual • 50% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (100% after 3 years) • 3% company-matching Simple IRA • Life insurance Job Requirements: • Microsoft Suite, including OneDrive, Word, and Excel • Google Suite, including Mail, Drive, and Voice • Office Experience • Phone Experience To Apply: Please submit a resume and a brief cover letter telling us what interests you about working behind the scenes of a culinary company.
