Supply Chain Manager | Rockford, MI Salary Range: $97,000 - $144,000 depending on experience Are you a meticulous professional with a passion for optimizing supply chain operations and ensuring material flow? The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Rockford region seeking Supply Chain Managers. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. • Manage all aspects of procurement, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for raw materials and components. • Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize obsolescence, and support production schedules. • Direct logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, and distribution. • Collaborate with production and sales teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and production plans. • Monitor key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives. • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply and operational resilience. Recommended Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. • Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, procurement, and logistics. • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning tools. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities. • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
