Key Responsibilities • Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs. • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials and components, ensuring cost-effective procurement. • Oversee supplier relationships, performance, and contract negotiations to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance. • Coordinate with production planning and scheduling to ensure timely material availability, preventing stockouts and delays. • Manage inbound logistics, warehousing, and material handling operations for efficient material flow. • Analyze material usage, forecasts, and market trends to mitigate supply chain risks and identify cost-saving opportunities. • Implement and continuously improve materials management processes and systems for enhanced efficiency. Recommended Qualifications • 5-7 years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment. • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory planning and control. • Strong analytical, forecasting, and data-driven problem-solving skills for inventory optimization. • Proven ability to lead and develop a team, coupled with excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
