POSITION SPECIFICS We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time-Tracking (PBATT) team with primary responsibility for Benefits configuration, Absence Management, and Payroll support within Workday. This role is critical for ensuring the ongoing support, optimization, and expansion of Workday functionality across HR domains. The position involves researching, recommending, and configuring Workday solutions to meet evolving business needs while maintaining system integrity and documentation with primary responsibility for Benefits configuration, Absence Management, and Payroll support within Workday. RESPONSIBILITIES Configure Workday to meet business requirements for Benefits, Absence, and Payroll. Develop user stories, create technical tasks, and execute detailed test plans. Validate and implement configuration changes; ensure integration and reporting updates. Maintain technical documentation and configure data archival/retention policies. Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Research and document Workday solution options, including pros/cons and risks; recommend enhancements. Stay current on Workday functionality through community engagement and training. Review release notes, assess impacts, and prepare implementation plans for bi-annual updates. Provide technical support for configuration-related issues; troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. Mentor team members and serve as subject matter expert for Benefits and Absence. Conduct and document testing to ensure functionality and performance; execute audits for data integrity. Coordinate with business analysts and engagement specialists to maintain training materials and job aids. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Workday configuration experience, with strong expertise in Benefits and Absence Management. Familiarity with Payroll processes and integrations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Advanced knowledge of Workday Benefits and Absence Management modules. Intermediate knowledge of Workday Payroll module. Workday Pro Certification.
