Full Description

The Linchpin Co. is a people operations group offering custom recruitment and consulting services. At Linchpin, we know a company's most valuable resource is its people, and we are people experts! We will be the point of contact between you and Her First 100K during the recruitment process, acting as your trusted advisor and coach. We look forward to your interest. About Her First $100K Her First $100K is a financial education company and media platform on a mission to get more money into women’s hands. Through our top-rated podcast, New York Times bestselling book, online memberships, and a global community of over 5 million, we help close the gender wealth gap by building women’s net worth and self-worth. As a remote-first company, we’re a diverse, creative, and values-driven team dedicated to empowering women through financial education and community. The Role: Programs Director The Programs Director leads the strategy, growth, and success of all programs — including Stock Market School, The $100K Club, and digital products. This is a high-impact role that blends program strategy, sales and marketing acumen, and customer success leadership. You’ll evaluate program performance, identify gaps in the customer journey, and ensure seamless, valuable, and engaging experiences that drive sales, retention, and lifetime value. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of e-commerce and online business, who can think holistically about both the sales funnel and customer success journey. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Podcast, and Partnerships to align programs with company goals while exceeding customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Growth • Set the vision and strategy for all programs, driving revenue, retention, and satisfaction goals. • Evaluate events, products, and sales cycles to determine what’s working and where customers are getting stuck. • Leverage trends, real-time events, and market shifts to keep programs relevant and competitive. Sales & Marketing Lens • Partner with Marketing to develop and optimize funnels that attract, convert, and retain members. • Shape program messaging and positioning to align with customer needs and buying behaviors. • Ensure retention initiatives are built into launches, upsells, and cross-sell campaigns. Program Excellence • Lead curriculum planning, audits, and updates for current and future offerings. • Ensure all content is high-quality, accessible, and outcome-driven. • Oversee improvements to modules, lessons, resources, and member support systems. Customer Success & Retention • Build retention strategies, engagement plans, and communication flows to maximize lifetime value. • Analyze member feedback and engagement data to generate actionable insights. • Partner with the Brand Director on community initiatives that strengthen loyalty. Leadership & Team Management • Manage and grow the Programs Team, setting clear goals and accountability measures. • Establish workflows, automations, and systems to scale program delivery. • Collaborate across departments to ensure programs integrate with company-wide strategy. Data & Insights • Define, track, and report KPIs and success metrics. • Present insights to leadership with recommendations for improvement. • Use data to forecast growth, retention, and resource needs. What We Expect • 6+ years of experience in program management, online business, or e-commerce. • Proven track record leading digital programs or products from strategy through execution. • Strong sales and marketing lens — understanding funnels, conversion drivers, and retention levers. • Experience with curriculum design or online education preferred. • Skilled people manager with experience driving accountability. • Data-driven decision-maker balancing customer needs with business goals. • Exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills. What You’ll Bring • A customer-first mindset paired with a business-driven approach. • Personal finance education knowledge or passion. • Creativity in solving problems and designing engaging experiences. • Ability to zoom out strategically and execute tactically. • Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills. Compensation & Employment Details Type of Hire • Full-time, salaried, exempt position. • Begins with a 90-day probationary period to ensure mutual fit. Salary & Location • Salary: $120,000 annually • Location: Hybrid in Seattle, WA • While most work is remote, the Programs Director participates in weekly in-person coworking days and occasional leadership retreats or team events. • Candidate must be a Washington State resident (preference for Seattle). Candidate Requirements • Must reside in Washington state. • Must hold U.S. work authorization. • Some travel may be required. Disclosures • No applicant disclosures related to physical requirements or ADA considerations are relevant for this role. Application Process All applications must be submitted through HFK’s official application process. Direct submissions via email, website contact forms, or DMs to team members will not be reviewed separately. Benefits & Culture • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with company match • Generous paid time off and 35 paid company offline days annually • Paid parental leave and menstrual leave • A mission-driven company working to close the gender wealth gap • A collaborative, innovative, and supportive team environment • Opportunities for career growth and leadership • The chance to shape programs that change the financial futures of millions of women
