Responsibilities

Perform Test and Balance projects including configuring and troubleshooting VFDs, interpreting blueprints, managing manpower, and ensuring compliance with healthcare requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience and advanced technical skills in TAB, VFDs, hydronic and air systems, plus proficiency with related software and strong communication and leadership abilities.

Summary of Job: Technician working on a team delivering the successful completion of a Test and Balance project. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent preferred 5+ years’ experience preferred Skills and Abilities: TAB Math – Advanced knowledge of math formulas as it relates to TAB VFD – Ability to configure and troubleshoot VFD’s Blueprints – Basic understanding of blueprints Hydronic Systems – Ability to perform TAB and troubleshoot systems Air Systems – Understanding of variable and constant volume air side applications Software – Understanding of Siemens, Trane, Honeywell and TAB reporting software Manpower – Ability to task and plan manpower and projects Healthcare – Working knowledge of healthcare requirements to include clean rooms, negative pressure areas and other requirements Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Technical Skills – Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service Oral Communication – Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Participates in meetings Written Communication – Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret information Quality Management – Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Leadership – Exhibits confidence in self and others; Inspires and motivates others to perform well; effectively influences actions and opinions of others Teamwork – Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to other’s views; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Puts success of team above own interests Ethics – Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values Professionalism – Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Accepts responsibility for own actions Safety and Security – Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions Attendance and Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on time Company Perks & Benefits Our mission at Lee Company is to create a workplace where our employees can thrive, and we back that up with action.
