Full Description

The Business Systems Analyst will be participating in many aspects of the end-to-end project life cycle, such as technical requirements gathering, documentation, technical design, roadmapping and UAT. This person must also be able to fluidly translate business specifications into technical designs and solutions regarding numerous system, platform, application, software, and cloud integrations/migrations. The BSA will be meeting with both business unit owners/end users and technical & engineering teams to gather functional requirements to create technical design and blueprints for solutions implementation in addition to supporting Program and Upper-level management. Job Duties: • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering, business process analysis, technical solution design, development, implementation/release, and ongoing maintenance for SW, application and platform environments. • Perform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications, and functions. • Create Technical Design for backend technical integrations, development and continuous support/maintenance while conducting project milestone reviews, continuous improvement, and causal analysis activities. • Develop and maintain user support documentation, analyze software maintenance requirements including trouble report and change proposal analysis, and propose economical and efficient solutions as part of developing IT solutions to user requirements. • Collaborate with cross functional teams, such as DevOps, InfoSec, Architecture, QA and key Development teams, to strengthen and elevate the platform from a technology perspective. • Provide updates and project status reports when necessary to management. • Identify, document, report and track system issues working with other Engineers to resolve bugs in a timely manner. Education & Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree is required • 5+ years’ experience gathering technical requirements and working with direct users (e.g. the Business, internal IT groups for ongoing solutions/development, etc.) • 4+ years’ experience designing and configuring technical solutions and generating technical documentation for project deliveries • Proven success working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies • Previous experience with JIRA is required Plus: • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (written, verbal)
