Overview The Cat Walk of New Hope is a one-of-a-kind boutique located in the heart of New Hope, on Main Street right along the Delaware River. We are an extremely busy and fun store with a great team! Our product assortment includes clothing, jewelry, and unique/specialty home-goods. Our customer base includes a high level of tourists, as well as locals. We are looking for a part time employee who is ready for the opportunity to work in a customer-oriented friendly environment. This part-time position is for 8 hours each Saturday. Sometimes it may be a morning shift and sometimes an afternoon/evening shift, but always Saturday for 8 hours. It would be ideal for a college or high school student, or for a Mom or Retiree looking for something consistent and enjoyable, but very part-time. Candidates must be self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on the highest of customer service standards. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and promote our products will be key to your success in this position. Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. • Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of counters, displays, and shelves by following good housekeeping procedures. • Maintain shelf and display organization. Ensure shelves are well-stocked with merchandise. • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies as needed. • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment. • Provide feedback on customer preferences and trends to help improve store offerings. Experience • Outgoing, energetic people person • Self-motivated and driven • Cashier/cash handling • Ability to check-in orders accurately • Ability to create displays and merchandise store products • Must have weekend availability • We are seeking those with previous retail experience, as well as employees that are brand new to the workforce with no experience.
