Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Customer Service/Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients, providing exceptional support, and driving sales through effective communication. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences. This position will begin with part time hours with the possibility to transition to full time. Responsibilities • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat channels. • Assist customers with product information, service details, and issue resolution to ensure high satisfaction levels. • Promote and sell products or services to existing and potential clients, identifying opportunities for upselling. • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback through data entry in CRM systems. • Handle cash transactions accurately when necessary, ensuring proper documentation. • Manage outbound calls to follow up on leads, surveys, or customer follow-ups to enhance client engagement. • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients. • Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and contribute to achieving sales targets. • Apply basic math techniques to provide estimates for custom orders to clients. Skills • Strong sales skills with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions. • Excellent customer support and client service skills with a focus on building rapport. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette. • Experience in outbound calling or call center environments is advantageous. • Analytical skills for assessing customer feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement. • Ability to move over 50 lbs. to assist clients load butcher block or restock the store front. • Ability to perform basic mathematics. • This position offers an engaging work environment where your communication talents can thrive while helping customers achieve their goals through excellent service and support.
