The 1987 Group is an ever-expanding Driveaway company, looking for dedicated and professional driveaway drivers with a commercial license to drive CDL vehicles throughout the United States. NO FREIGHT INVOLVED • *MUST be willing to conduct OTR moves** For OTR Moves: Moves are long in mileage. We do these moves across the US. We provide airfare and a hotel stipend. Details of each move differ and will be provided. (more frequent, flat rate). For Local Moves: Moves will be local, you will be driving the CDL vehicle while another one of our NON CDL drivers follows. (rare, hourly pay). Qualifications: • Valid CDL Class A or B required. • At least 3 years experience as CDL required. • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required. • Ability to pass all DOT pre-employment screening processes. • 3 years to 5 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents. • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines. • Have to be at least 21 years old. This is a 1099 position. Must be able to use smartphone. Able to work in fast paced environment. Monday to Sunday as needed Salary: $20.00/hour and/or Flat Rate Job Type: Contract Pay: $20.00 per hour Experience: • driving Class A or B: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: • CDL A or B (Required) Work Location: On the road
