This position is based out of our yard in Tacoma, Washington.Working under the supervision of the site Supervisor, the Laborer will assist the Civil Team with the installation of telecommunications infrastructure (buried cable, wire, or ducts) for various projects.This is a full-time position which includes weekly pay, Benefits, 401K as well as opportunities for growth!Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.00/Hour based on experience.YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO: Diagnose and locate cable faults and replace or repair Telecommunications cablesHand dig holes and trenchesFrequently use tools such as shovelsComplete landscaping restoration workAid with general site preparation and clean-up as directedSafely load and unload vehicles with supplies and equipment as directedRun gas and power equipment (i.e., saws, drills, jumping jacks)Assist with the removal of debris from work sitesAssist with traffic control as directedAssess work environment for potential health and safety hazardsSolve problems and perform well under pressure and time constraintsComplete other duties as requiredTHIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:Construction or landscaping industry experience - buried utilities or telecommunications/fiber experience strongly preferredExperience driving a mini-excavator and trenching strongly preferredMust have a valid Driver's License. A CDL would be considered an asset.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year longMust be able to work on weekends and overtime when requiredMust be proficient in internet and email usage, and able to learn new software quicklyGood verbal command of the English Language and great communication skillsMust be able to safely lift 80 lbs.Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environmentWell-groomed and maintain continued professional appearance and demeanorMust maintain prompt and consistent attendance to include arrival times for work on job assignmentsMust be willing to complete an online criminal record check to the company's satisfactionIS THIS YOU?
