Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Remote (U.S. Based) Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $66.00 hourly About the Role We're seeking a Scrum Master who is passionate about Agile delivery, lean principles, and building high-performing, collaborative teams. If you're skilled at blending traditional project methodologies with Agile frameworks, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll support cross-functional teams to improve flow, enhance transparency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in a fully remote environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Facilitate Scrum Events • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Ensure meetings are outcome-focused and time-effective. 2. Bridge Agile and Traditional Project Management • Collaborate with PMO and project managers to align Agile practices with formal project plans (e.g., Gantt charts). • Translate Agile processes into deliverables that align with traditional timelines. 3. Apply Lean Thinking • Use flow-based metrics like throughput, lead time, and cycle time to drive improvement. • Champion efficiency through lean methods such as Scrum with Kanban or Lean Six Sigma. 4. Drive Remote Collaboration • Utilize tools like Miro, Mural, and Microsoft Whiteboard to facilitate teamwork across distributed teams. • Encourage practices like pair programming to boost engagement and quality. 5. Promote Transparency & Accountability • Track team progress using tools like Jira and Confluence. • Proactively identify and remove impediments, engaging the right stakeholders as needed. 6. Coach & Mentor • Guide teams and leaders in Agile principles, fostering a self-organizing and continuously improving culture. • Support adoption of Agile best practices across all levels of the organization. Working Conditions • Remote-First: Collaborate with teams across time zones in a fully virtual setting. • May occasionally require availability outside standard hours for critical project needs or global coordination.
