If yes… this role is built for you. 👇 ⭐ About the Opportunity A leading supermarket group in Long Island is looking for an experienced Meat & Seafood Supervisor to oversee operations across six store locations. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where your expertise directly drives sales, gross profit, and overall department performance. You’ll be the person ensuring that every meat and seafood department runs at the highest standards of quality, presentation, food safety, and operational excellence. This company is one of the few retailers that still cuts meat in-store every day—a rare opportunity for real industry experts. 🔥 What You’ll Do • Oversee meat & seafood departments across multiple stores • Conduct two store walks per day and visit each location twice weekly • Improve sales, merchandising, GP, and freshness standards • Lead shrink reduction through smart decisions and strong execution • Train, coach, and support teams (30–45 employees indirectly) • Ensure high standards of cutting, yields, rotation, and sanitation • Analyze sales and operational data to drive strategic actions • Collaborate closely with Store Managers and Assistant Managers • Work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly ⭐ What Makes This Role Unique ✔ You influence the performance of six departments, not just one ✔ You join a respected, stable grocery group with decades of operations ✔ You become the go-to expert for meat & seafood operations ✔ You make a direct financial impact on the business ✔ You work for a company that values quality, leadership, and accountability 🎯 What We’re Looking For • 5+ years of experience in meat operations (cutting, yields, QA, rotation) • 2–5+ years of leadership experience (multi-store a plus) • Strong technical knowledge of cutting methods & product handling • Proven results reducing shrink and improving department performance • Food Safety Certification (required) • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Strong Excel and data-analysis skills • Someone energetic, outgoing, confident, and proactive • A leader who’s not afraid of tough conversations and adapts fast 📅 Schedule • Mon–Fri, 7 AM–5 PM • 1 late night per week (9 AM–7 PM) • 1 weekend day twice per month • Daily travel between store locations 📩 How to Apply If you are a meat expert, a strong leader, and someone who thrives in a multi-store environment, we want to meet you.
