As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will drive growth for noise control, vibration isolation, and restraint systems within your assigned region. This role is ideal for a dynamic, results-driven professional with a strong background in Applied HVAC sales and a passion for delivering exceptional client solutions. You’ll work closely with consulting engineers, OEMs, contractors, and independent sales representatives, building lasting relationships and executing strategic sales initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a regional sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets. • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales reps, engineers, contractors, and OEMs. • Provide technical expertise and deliver tailored solutions for noise and vibration control challenges. • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. • Present technical information to building owners, architects, and engineers. • Support pre-order activities, including interpreting drawings/specifications and assisting with product selections. • Monitor performance, prepare forecasts, and report on market conditions to the Director of Sales. • Meet or exceed sales and margin goals within the assigned territory Performance Monitoring & Reporting: • Develop strategic plan for routine visits to reps and customers, including pre-visit planning and post-visit reporting, to develop close business relationships and achieve sales and training goals • Develop quarterly territorial sales goals and forecasts in cooperation with independent sales representatives within the assigned region. • Provide forecasts, budgets, and updates on market conditions within the assigned region. Sales Strategy & Execution: • Develop and execute a regional sales plan to achieve or exceed revenue and growth targets. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned markets and industries. • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities. • Client Relationship Management: • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including engineers, contractors, distributors, and project managers. • Provide technical support and consultation to clients, addressing their noise control and vibration isolation challenges with tailored solutions. Technical Expertise & Solution Selling: • Understand and effectively communicate the features, benefits, and applications of noise control and vibration isolation products and systems. • Collaborate with engineering teams to design customized solutions that meet client specifications and project requirements. • Deliver product presentations, technical demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and stakeholders. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field). • 5+ years HVAC industry sales experience; knowledge of noise/vibration controls preferred. • 3+ years in value-based selling as a Regional Sales Manager or similar role. • Proven ability to create basis-of-design solutions with consulting engineers. • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to travel 50% within the USA and Canada. • Sales driven with strong initiative and self-motivation Want to work with skilled people at the top of their game and play a part in developing state-of-the-art solutions?
