Full Description

Summary: Responsible for managing projects and operational support related to Sutton Bank's payments partnerships while supporting the Senior Account Management Team. This role serves as a key point of contact between the Bank and its partners, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with established policies and contractual obligations. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Licenses/Certifications: PMP certification preferred. Experience: Five years of project management experience, preferably within the Payments, Banking, or Fintech industries. An understanding of electronic and card payment processes preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential Functions: A: Job Specific: • Manages collateral submissions and the Bank's responses for the top performing payments partner, including the workstream and communication between the partner and the Bank to ensure materials are reviewed efficiently and remain in compliance to the Bank's marketing guidelines. • Oversees the daily overdraft report on behalf of all partners, actioning timely resolution and escalation as necessary. • Monitors and manages the submission of due diligence requirements including, but not limited to, annual reviews and ongoing monitoring obligations between all Bank departments. • Tracks and manages recurring departmental requests from Payments Partners, including monthly or bi-monthly reporting or operational submissions. • Manages the processes with payments partners related to account opening, closures, and dormancies to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely updates. • Monitors Partner contract renewals and collaborates closely with the Senior Account Manager (SAM) to initiate renewal discussions and strategic reviews. • Works closely with the Payments Partnerships Services Manager on all Payments Risk Committee outcomes to Partners to ensure follow-up actions are tracked and completed. • Serves as the main point of contact for all partner winddowns following the last transaction date, coordinating cross-functional efforts through program closure. • Assists in the identification of potential risk factors and determines solutions to mitigate exposure. • Identifies areas for process improvements and enhancements related to Partnership Operations. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Proven working experience in project or change management. • The ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both in verbal and written communications, as well as, present information to groups of managers, employees, customers, and the general public. • Critical thinking skills. • Must work well independently, be self-motivated and results-oriented. • Strong inter-personal skills are required to build relationships, collaborate, and communicate well. • Strong organizational skills, to include attention to detail and multi-tasking. • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands to meet other operational or strategic requirements and achieve optimum performance; ability to recognize and willingness to apply a sense of urgency when necessary. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Technical writing, to include reports, procedure manuals, articles for publication, training documents, policies and procedures, and legal documents.
