About the Role The National Account Manager – Natural & Conventional Channel is responsible for delivering profitable sales and share growth across the US. This role manages mission-critical current and future retail partners - including Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods Market, Meijer, HEB, and Kroger - as well as our two primary distributors, KeHE and UNFI. Success in this role will be driven by effective leadership of our national broker network and strong cross-functional collaboration. What You'll Do Profitable Sales Delivery Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. business plan and sales strategy to deliver revenue, share, and profit goals. Own full account responsibility—including core business, innovation launches, merchandising events, and annual trade planning—to achieve year-over-year performance growth. Ensure effective trade fund management to drive sustainable, profitable sales. Fostering Retailer, Distributor & Broker Leadership Build and maintain strong,productive relationships with retail partners, brokers, and distributor teams to ensure flawless execution of brand initiatives. Inspire and influence external partners to champion the brand as if it were their own. Serve as a trusted leader and key liaison across all customer-facing activities. Strategic Sales Planning, Forecasting & Execution Build and execute annual customer business plans and manage day-to-day operations with retail and broker partners. Analyze business opportunities to support the development of go-to-market strategies, including new item launches, trade programs, and price/pack architecture. Collaborate closely with demand planning on annual and ongoing forecasts, item-level performance, new item projections, and long-term brand growth plans. Identify emerging customer and market needs to help the brand proactively respond to trends and competitive dynamics. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner effectively with supply chain, logistics, finance, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure strong execution and shared accountability. Contribute actively to a high-performing, cross-functional culture with a “power of one” mindset. Demonstrate strong ownership, communication, and follow-through across all initiatives. What You'll Bring 5-7+ years of experience in CPG sales account management, ideally with a high-growth wellness or natural products brand. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Ability to travel domestically 30% - 50%. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to think strategically and balance short - and long-term objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience in sales planning, forecasting, and account management (natural & conventional channels preferred). Highly customer-focused with strong responsiveness and follow-through. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally without direct authority. Proven track record of building trusting, productive internal and external relationships. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. High capacity for learning, strategic thinking, and problem solving.
