Job Summary Strack & Van Til is looking for a dedicated and experienced Night Crew Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the night shift operations, ensuring the store is fully stocked, clean, and ready for customers by morning. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and lead the night crew team to achieve efficient restocking, facing, and organization of products throughout the store. • Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are fully stocked, neat, and well-organized for optimal customer experience. • Supervise unloading of deliveries and proper storage of goods in accordance with store policies and health and safety standards. • Oversee the completion of all night crew tasks, including stocking, cleaning, and inventory management. • Train, mentor, and develop night crew associates, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Conduct nightly inspections to maintain store cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. • Coordinate with department managers to ensure inventory levels are accurate and that out-of-stock items are replenished. • Monitor performance of team members, provide constructive feedback, and manage scheduling to maximize productivity. • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the shift, including staff concerns or customer inquiries. • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures to create a secure working environment. Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a grocery store setting. • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment. • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email).
