We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in Healthcare, Medicaid, and MMIS systems to join our team. In this role, you will help analyze, design, document, and support technology solutions that improve healthcare outcomes for vulnerable populations. This position requires deep knowledge of Medicaid claims, prior authorizations, and healthcare operations. 🔹 Responsibilities • Lead and support junior business analysts across multiple IT projects. • Facilitate client meetings to gather, document, and analyze business requirements. • Develop test cases, test plans, and validate system design against requirements. • Participate in all phases of the SDLC using the waterfall methodology. • Provide project task estimations, lessons learned, and process improvements. • Serve as the bridge between clients, PMs, and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment. • Analyze and optimize business processes to support client technology goals. • Validate all requirements through test case approval and result reviews. • Use tools like Excel/SQL for impact analysis and data validation. 🔹 Requirements • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Healthcare / Health Insurance. • Strong expertise in Medicaid, especially institutional & professional claims processing. • Working knowledge of Prior Authorization, Member, Provider, LTC, Inpatient/Outpatient processes. • Hands-on experience with project/change management tools such as ALM, iTrace/rTrace. • Experience with MMIS benefit plan configuration updates. • Proven SDLC experience (Waterfall). • Strong skills in creating documentation (user manuals, training materials, deliverables). • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
