Wayne, IN Role Summary Stelic is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Engineer - Scheduler to lead schedule development and execution on a mission-critical data center project in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a high-trust, high-visibility role for professionals who thrive on precision, field coordination, and direct ownership of the schedule. Why This Role Stands Out You’ll take ownership of a complex Primavera P6 schedule with over 2,500 activities, supporting one of the nation’s most technical and time-sensitive builds. This is a field-facing role where you’ll work directly with superintendents, engineers, and executives, earning recognition through results, not time at a desk. You won’t be micromanaged, but you will be accountable. If you’ve worked in environments where the schedule is disconnected from the work or treated more as a formality than a tool, this will be different. Here, the schedule is a driver of action and decision-making, not just a report. What We Offer • $130K–$160K base salary + 5–10% annual bonus potential • Relocation and demobilization support funding • Direct line to leadership and a path to lead future data center programs What You’ll Do • Build/manage fully logic-tied Primavera P6 baseline schedule, 2,500+ activities using CPM best practice • Conduct weekly schedule updates through site walks and trade coordination • Use P6 layouts to: • Track critical path and near-critical risks • Filter by trade, zone, or timeframe • Generate field-friendly, leadership-ready reports • Maintain resource-loaded schedules for cost and earned value tracking • Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) using baseline and live schedule data • Deliver monthly schedule package: .xer files, critical path snapshot, 6-week lookaheads & written narrative What You Bring • 5+ years in commercial construction scheduling or project controls • Expert-level skills in Primavera P6 and Excel • You know how a job actually gets built, and how to reflect that in logic • Strong communication: You can brief superintendents or a VP with equal clarity • Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus, but not required Final Word This isn’t a back-office scheduling role.
