Accounting Analyst Itasca, IL – Onsite Compensation: Up to $120k base + bonus | Full benefits | 401(k) Stable10 is partnering with a rapidly growing financial services organization to hire an Accounting Analyst. Over the past several years, the company has experienced substantial expansion, significantly increasing revenue, scaling its customer base, and strengthening brand presence, while maintaining strong profitability and a lean, efficient finance team. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, data, and operations. You’ll support key accounting processes, work heavily with financial and operational data, and collaborate across departments to enhance reporting, workflows, and controls within a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities • Support month-end close activities and assist with accurate financial reporting • Perform and review daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple systems • Investigate breaks, variances, and accounting discrepancies with a strong analytical mindset • Reconcile financial and operational data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness • Assist with payout setup, calculations, reviews, and distributions • Document and refine internal processes to support scalable operations • Partner with operations, accounting, technology, risk, and compliance teams on reporting and workflow improvements • Contribute to strengthening internal controls, accounting policies, and overall process effectiveness What You Bring • 3+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance environment • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Strong spreadsheet/data analysis skills (Excel or Google Sheets), with the ability to interpret and clearly present data • Critical thinker, someone who can diagnose issues, not just process tasks • Experience with enterprise accounting systems; NetSuite preferred • Strong communication skills with solid organizational ability and a proactive, ownership-driven approach Why This Role You’ll be joining a company that has undergone major growth over the last few years expanding revenue, customers, and operational scale while keeping its finance function intentionally lean and highly effective.
