Position Summary The Warehouse Associate position assists with all warehouse-related operations under the direction of the Warehouse Manager. Essential Functions and Responsibilities • Assist with maintenance of the physical condition of the warehouse. • Assist with the performance of detailed manual inventory counts. • Assist with deliveries and pick-ups, as needed. • Other duties may be assigned at the Warehouse Manager's discretion related to the fundamental aspects of the Warehouse Associate or related positions. General Requirements • Handle the loading and unloading of vehicles. • Ensure all accidents or injuries are reported immediately • If driving company vehicles must comply with all federal, state, and local laws regulating safe driving and maintain a safe driving record and appropriate driver's license classification while operating agency vehicles • Assist with volunteer cleanings under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager • Operate pallet jack to maneuver pallets • Basic knowledge of Windows-based personal computers and software systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products • Possess the proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format. • Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the Organization and the state. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to excessive heat and wet and/or humid outside conditions. Due to working in the office, warehouse, and/or school setting, the noise level in the environment is moderate to high at times. In addition, the following conditions will be required: • Typical warehouse/delivery truck setting, diverse surroundings with unpredictable environments such as uneven surfaces.
