Now Hiring: Part-Time Virtual Teacher (Grades 2–9+) | Spark Learning Pals Are you passionate about teaching and excited to support amazing homeschool students from around the world? Spark Learning Pals is growing, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, creative, and dependable educators to join our team! Position: Part-Time Virtual Teacher Grade Levels: 2nd–9th+ Location: Remote (Work from home!) Start Date: Immediate Compensation: Competitive hourly pay About the Role As a Virtual Teacher with Spark Learning Pals, you will lead engaging online classes and small-group learning pods designed to support diverse learners. We specialize in hands-on, interactive, and student-centered instruction. If you love connecting with students, designing fun learning experiences, and supporting homeschool families, this is the perfect position for you! What You’ll Do • Teach live virtual classes and/or learning pods for grades 2–9+ • Provide clear, supportive instruction tailored to different learning needs • Build rapport with students and encourage a positive, welcoming class environment • Plan engaging lessons (we also provide curriculum tools and support!) • Communicate with families and support student progress • Collaborate with a friendly, supportive team of educators What We Offer • Competitive pay • Flexible scheduling • Teach from the comfort of your home • Supportive teacher community • Opportunity to design creative lessons • Amazing homeschool students from all over the world • Training + shadowing opportunities for new team members Ideal Candidate We’re looking for teachers who are: • Passionate about helping students learn and grow • Reliable, warm, and engaging • Comfortable teaching online • Experienced with elementary and/or middle school learners • Creative with lesson planning (or excited to use our AI lesson creator!) • Friendly, positive, and student-centered Bonus points for: Experience with neurodiverse learners (dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, dyscalculia), Orton-Gillingham, project-based learning, or enrichment classes.
