As we prepare to launch groundbreaking projects, we’re seeking a Procurement and Supply chain Mgr. to lead technical excellence and drive the development of next-generation for satellite-based fluid transport missions. Role Overview As a consulting Procurement and Supply Chain Mgr., i,e you’ll own the end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle for our missions, ensuring seamless integration of complex systems while mentoring teams and shaping our technical strategy. This position reports directly to the COO. Key Responsibilities • Lead procurement and supply chain operations across multiple categories, ensuring compliance with organizational, customer, and regulatory requirements. • Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost reduction, supplier performance, and risk mitigation. • Manage supplier selection, qualification, performance evaluation, and relationship management. • Oversee contract negotiation, pricing agreements, and vendor agreements to achieve optimal value and terms. • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and program teams to forecast demand and align procurement strategies. • Ensure on-time delivery of critical materials, parts, and services, balancing cost, schedule, and quality requirements. • Drive process improvements in supply chain operations, leveraging digital tools and data analytics. • Lead and mentor procurement/supply chain staff, building a high-performing, customer-focused team. • Maintain compliance with applicable standards (ISO, AS9100, FAR/DFARS if defense sector). • Provide executive-level reporting on key metrics, supplier risks, and procurement performance. What We’re Looking For - Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing management with 2+ years in a leadership role. Proven track record in supplier negotiations, contract management, and sourcing strategy. Strong knowledge of procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or equivalent). Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage supplier relationships at an executive level. Excellent problem-solving, financial acumen, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Nice-to-Have Master’s Degree (MBA or Supply Chain/Operations specialization). Professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, or PMP). Experience in aerospace, defense, high-tech manufacturing, or regulated industries. Expertise in global sourcing, supplier risk management, and government compliance (ITAR, DFARS, C-TPAT).
