Senior Manager / Director of Sales at SoftEye Location: San Diego, CA or Bay Area, CA (Hybrid) SoftEye is seeking a Sales leader to drive adoption of our augmented reality (AR) platform across enterprise customers, OEM partners, and the broader spatial computing ecosystem. This role is a key part of SoftEye’s coordinated global go to market expansion. As we extend our AR platform across U.S. and international markets, you will build pipeline across priority verticals, lead technical and commercial sales cycles, and represent our system level AR platform to senior customer and partner stakeholders. You will engage deeply in customer requirements, shape integrated AR hardware and software solutions, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, Solutions, and Business Development to align customer needs with platform direction. SoftEye - Sr Mgr or Director of… Key Responsibilities • Lead sales engagement with enterprise, OEM, and platform partners for AR hardware and software solutions. • Build and manage a robust pipeline across priority verticals and drive opportunities through the full sales cycle. • Engage deeply with customer requirements, system constraints, and hardware software integration needs to shape AR aligned solutions. • Articulate platform capabilities across sensors, compute, displays, perception software, SDKs, and cloud integrations. • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Solutions teams to design customer aligned AR architectures and evaluation programs. • Lead customer demos, technical discovery sessions, proof of concepts, and joint development efforts. • Develop sales materials including proposals, solution briefs, and executive ready presentations. • Negotiate agreements and manage complex, multi quarter enterprise or OEM deal cycles. • Represent the company in executive meetings, industry events, analyst briefings, and AR ecosystem forums. • Track market dynamics, competitive activity, and AR ecosystem transitions to guide sales strategy and prioritization. • Contribute to forecasting, revenue planning, and go to market alignment as the business scales. • Mentor team members or support partner and channel relationships as experience allows. Qualifications • Seven or more years of experience selling emerging technology platforms, hardware systems, or developer facing products. • Bachelor’s degree required. A technical degree or MBA is preferred. • Experience with AR, XR, or spatial computing technologies including perception software, sensors, embedded compute, near eye displays, or edge AI. • Demonstrated ability to sell integrated hardware and software solutions and navigate system level conversations. • Strong track record managing complex B2B or OEM sales cycles with technical qualification and evaluation programs. • Experience partnering with engineers, product leaders, and technical decision makers. • Ability to operate effectively in fast moving, growth stage environments. • Excellent customer engagement, executive communication, and relationship building skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience selling to OEMs, device manufacturers, enterprise innovation teams, or platform partners. • Background in AR hardware, perception stacks, near eye displays, embedded systems, or related technologies. • Experience contributing to sales strategy, forecasting, partner management, or early team building. Compensation and Benefits • Annual base salary range: $180,000 to $250,000 with equity, performance bonuses, and incentives. • Comprehensive benefits package.
