Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor with over five years of professional experience to join our social media marketing team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind crafting compelling visual stories through expert editing, motion graphics, and post-production techniques. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate editor eager to bring innovative ideas to life and make a significant impact through visual storytelling. Responsibilities • Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with project goals, brand guidelines, and creative visions using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid. • Develop engaging motion graphics and visual effects utilizing Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, or similar tools to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement. • Manage all aspects of post-production workflows including color correction, sound editing, and visual enhancements to ensure high-quality output. • Collaborate closely with content creators, videographers, graphic designers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver compelling content on time. • Organize and maintain digital assets using content management systems, Adobe Bridge, and FTP for efficient workflow management. • Incorporate photo editing and manipulation skills using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and Adobe Illustrator to support multimedia projects. • Ensure consistency in typography, branding elements, and overall visual style across all video and photo content. • Stay current with emerging trends in video production, animation (2D/3D), and graphic design to continually enhance creative output. Experience • A minimum of five years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, or related fields within a fast-paced creative environment. • Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Final Cut Pro; Avid Media Composer; Maya; Cinema 4D; and other relevant software tools. Plus if you also understand Canva. • Experience with creating landscape style Meta ads to post across social media channels. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. • Experience working with content management systems (CMS), FTP protocols for file transfer, and digital asset organization is highly desirable. • Knowledge of videography techniques including filming fundamentals and content creation workflows is a plus. • Familiarity with 3D animation (Maya), motion graphics design, typography principles, and content creation strategies will set candidates apart.
