In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business data governance requirements into Collibra use cases, workflows, and configurations. You will play a key role in ensuring that the Collibra platform is effectively adopted by the business, and supports enterprise-wide metadata management, business glossary, data stewardship, data quality, and lineage use cases. Role is located in Charlotte, North Carolina with a Hybrid presence in office. • *Role Objectives** Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering • Engage with data governance, business, and technology stakeholders to understand requirements related to metadata, business glossaries, data stewardship, and data quality. • Translate business needs into detailed Collibra user stories, functional requirements, and configuration specifications. • Document current-state and future-state processes enabled by Collibra. Collibra Platform Implementation Support • Partner with Collibra platform manager to configure assets, workflows, and data models based on business requirements. • Assist in managing the Collibra Operating Model, including domain structures, communities, and roles. • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that platform capabilities meet functional requirements. Adoption & Enablement • Support onboarding of business users, stewards, and data owners onto the platform. • Develop and deliver training, user guides, and process documentation. • Act as a key point of contact for user questions, feedback, and enhancement requests. Governance & Standards • Ensure alignment of Collibra configuration to enterprise data governance policies, taxonomy, and metadata standards. • Work with global governance teams to drive consistency across domains and regions. • Support continuous improvement of Collibra capabilities through lessons learned and stakeholder feedback. • *Qualifications and Skills** + 8+ years of experience as a business analyst in data governance, data management, or enterprise platforms. + Hands-on experience working with or supporting Collibra (or similar metadata/data governance platforms). + Strong understanding of metadata management, business glossaries, data stewardship, and data quality concepts. + Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. + Ability to translate business needs into technical or tool-specific requirements. • *Preferred Qualifications** + Collibra Ranger or Steward certification is a plus. + Experience with agile delivery, workflow design + Background in financial services or other regulated industries. + Familiarity with other tools in the data ecosystem (e.g., data quality tools, data catalogs, lineage tools).
