The Procurement Analyst will consolidate purchase order requirements and process procurement requests through various channels. They will also track contract expenditures and provide status monitoring for purchasing activities.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and have experience in logistics or acquisition support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are also required.
Overview Currently seeking a Part Time (20 hours per week) Purchasing Agent to join our team. This individual will perform acquisition of supplies, materials, equipment and services. Duties include procuring materials and services through a variety of purchasing methods and procedures. Individuals will assist with all stages of the procurement process from the initiation of a purchase request to the final delivery of the request. Travel None Clearance An Interim or ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. Requirements Must be a U.S. CITIZEN and be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE Logistics Support, Acquisition Support or related experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Project, as well as Adobe Acrobat Ability to work independently and on a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organization skills Responsibilities Consolidating purchase order requirements from program team members Processing and routing procurement requests via the appropriate acquisition channel (e.g., existing contract vehicles, Purchase Request/Commitment Forms (PCRF), or Other Direct Costs (ODC)) - This includes preparing all required documentation, such as justifications and waivers Coordinating the acquisition of Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and MILSTRIP items as well as compliance with safety requirements Tracking and reporting contract expenditures against procured items Providing status monitoring and reporting for purchasing, shipping, and receiving activities Performing logistical support for the shipping and receiving of procured items Preferred Skills and Experience Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) preferred Education High School Diploma, Bachelors Degree Preferred Compensation Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $36.69/hr - $46.47/hr (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
