Please note that this position is located in a non-climate-controlled environment. ¿Line Operator • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM ($18.00/hour) • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM ($18.25/hour) Material Handler • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM ($19.00/hour) Perks & Benefits • Weekly paychecks • Direct Deposit or Cash Card pay options • Medical / Dental Insurance • $18.00 - $19.00/Hour Employment Type & Shifts • Temp to Hire • Full Time • 1st Shift • 2nd Shift • 3rd Shift Job Responsibilities Line Operator Responsibilities: • Perform all duties in a non-climate-controlled environment • Responsible for understanding and ensuring safety standards are respected • Conduct first level of maintenance (PMs) and first piece inspection at the start of shift (if applicable) • Maintain 5S standards • Detect problems (deviations from standards) in safety, quality, and efficiently • In case a problem is detected, stop and apply the appropriate reactivity procedure • Actively participate the improvements proposal program • Ensure cleanliness and safety of each workstation • Communicate any supplies shortage to the team lead at the beginning, during, and after shift • Involvement in continuous improvement through participation in VPS workshops Material Handler Responsibilities: • Responsible for the application of safety standards and for adhering to V5000, TS16949, V1000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 standards using QRQC methodology (All functions), On the Job Training (OJT) of peers and Stop Scrap procedures (related to all manufacturing) where applicable • Obtain Valeo certification to safely operate fork trucks • Remove full finish goods containers from production areas and replace with empty finish goods containers • Operators must be able to work overtime without / limited notice for coverage of call-ins • Operators have to perform safety checks on equipment at the start of their shift • Cell phones are not allowed to be used while operating powered equipment • Operators must understand that they are a support function to the production lines Associate Requirements • HS Diploma or GED • Background Check • Drug Test • Must be at least 18 years old
