Job Title: Remote Financial Analyst (100% Work From Home) Location: Remote from Latin America Position Type: Full-time Salary: $3,000 USD/month Schedule: Monday-Friday, business hours Central Time Job Overview: This organization is building the intelligent operating system for energy project development. They are focused on accelerating the deployment of sub-100MW power systems for behind-the-meter customers, compressing typical 5+ year development timelines down to 12-24 months. Their platform bridges the capital gap between proven energy technologies and commercial deployment, targeting projects with internal rates of return (IRRs) around 20%. They are tackling one of the biggest problems in the energy transition: over 75% of energy projects fail before reaching detailed design. Their technology streamlines the development funnel, enabling faster deployment of clean energy solutions for industrial customers. We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support both internal operations and consulting engagements with the company's portfolio businesses. This role combines traditional financial analysis with deep energy market research to inform the platform's development and provide strategic insights to clients. You'll work directly with the CEO on financial modeling, market intelligence, and investment analysis across multiple energy technology sectors. Responsibilities: Financial Analysis & Modeling • Build and maintain financial models for energy project development, including pro forma projections, IRR calculations, and sensitivity analyses • Develop investment memoranda and due diligence materials for fundraising activities • Analyze project economics across multiple energy technologies (solar, nuclear, hydrogen, storage) • Support financial planning and budgeting for internal operations Consulting & Client Support • Provide financial analysis support to portfolio companies and consulting clients • Prepare pitch decks, investor presentations, and strategic planning materials • Conduct comparable company analysis and market benchmarking • Support client fundraising efforts with financial documentation and modeling Market Research & Intelligence • Research and analyze energy markets, including ERCOT and other ISO markets • Track venture capital activity and M&A trends in the energy sector • Build and maintain databases of market intelligence, investor contacts, and industry developments • Contribute to market research features within the company platform Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies: • 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance • Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel (can build models from scratch) • Experience with valuation methodologies (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field • Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment Nice to have: • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or project finance • Familiarity with power purchase agreements (PPAs), interconnection processes, or ERCOT market dynamics • Experience with Python, SQL, or data analysis tools • Understanding of renewable energy technologies and their economics • Experience supporting fundraising or M&A transactions Benefits • Equity participation in the company • Flexible work arrangements • Opportunity to work at the intersection of energy and technology • Direct exposure to venture capital and energy industry networks Application Disclaimer: Please Read Before Proceeding To ensure a fair and efficient hiring process, all applications must meet the mandatory requirements listed in the job description.
