The Embedded Intelligence Analyst will provide timely, actionable and relevant strategic analysis to the client. The Intelligence Analyst role is remote, and will report to the Strategic Intelligence Manager. The role will detect, analyse, and advise on adverse conditions that could affect the safety, security, and operational continuity of the client’s business. In particular, the analyst will deliver physical security strategic analysis and protective intelligence. The role requires a broad understanding of intelligence in world affairs. The role requires a focus on North and South America but will also have a global remit. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Plan, research, and create a range of analytical reports delivering actionable insight to internal clients, often independently and without explicit requests. Own and develop key intelligence products, inclusive of the content and recipients. Deliver on-call intelligence assessments tailored to client requirements, particularly in written form. Ability to produce executive protection and threat intelligence deliverables. Conduct fast turnaround security investigations as needed. Display creative and proactive thinking and consulting skills to deliver a continually improving service for the client. Create innovative ways to produce and display intelligence analysis, tailored to the client. Be an effective member of a small team, focused on delivery of lean, high impact services. Effectively manage the client as the embedded representative of Sibylline’s team, ensuring that they are receiving consistently high standards of support. Network and support the growth of the intelligence function within the client company. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with minimal need for editing. Deep understanding of global politics, business environments, and current events—especially in North and South America. Proven experience in threat investigations, protective intelligence, and producing high-quality intelligence products under tight deadlines. Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to creatively interpret complex situations and sift large volumes of information. Skilled in data manipulation and visualization, including innovative use of infographics. Clear understanding of how security issues impact major corporations. Able to work independently and collaboratively, with strong initiative and ownership of tasks. Highly detail-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Comfortable multitasking in fast-paced environments. Preferred experience in global security functions (e.g., threat monitoring, crisis management) and consulting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; preferred advanced degree (Master’s). At least 3-5 years’ professional experience in an analytical function and demonstrable interest in political and commercial connections. Additional Information Work Environment/Physical Requirements This position is largely self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in a virtual office environment utilizing a computer and standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The position may require travel up to 5%.
