The EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst will lead system build, configuration, testing, and deployment activities while serving as a subject matter expert for eConsult functionality. This is a remote position. EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst (Contract — Remote, 6–12 Months) Overview We are seeking an experienced EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst to support ongoing optimization, enhancement, and workflow development efforts within our clinical application ecosystem. The ideal consultant will have strong experience with eConsults, including build, configuration, workflows, troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration. This is a remote contract role lasting 6–12 months, with occasional on-site meetings as needed. Responsibilities Lead EpicCare Ambulatory system build, configuration, testing, and deployment activities. Serve as the subject matter expert for eConsult functionality, including intake workflows, routing rules, templates, statuses, and integration touchpoints. Analyze clinical and operational requirements to design future-state workflows that improve provider efficiency and patient access. Work closely with clinical stakeholders, operational leaders, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions. Perform system troubleshooting, defect triage, issue resolution, and enhancement planning. Support cross-functional efforts involving Scheduling, Clinical Documentation, Referrals, Care Management, Telehealth, and other integrated modules. Maintain documentation for system build, workflow diagrams, test scripts, and change requests. Participate in change control processes, upgrade planning, regression testing, and release coordination. Provide knowledge transfer and build guidance to internal analysts and project teams. Engagement Details Contract Length: 6–12 months Location: Fully remote with potential for minimal onsite meetings Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week) Requirements Required Qualifications EpicCare Ambulatory certification (current or former required; NVT accepted). Strong hands-on experience with Epic eConsults, including build, testing, routing logic, and workflow optimization. 3+ years of experience in Epic Ambulatory build and support roles. Proven ability to collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders. Experience supporting provider workflows, order sets, SmartTools, and encounter documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on high-quality deliverables. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with related Epic modules such as Care Everywhere, Referrals, Cadence, MyChart, Care Management, or Telehealth. Knowledge of downstream impacts to reporting, interfaces, and security. Experience working in an agile, fast-paced delivery environment. Prior consulting experience strongly preferred.
