We are seeking a Compliance and QA Specialist who will work with our team to ensure our agency meets all regulatory and quality standards. Job Description: The position will be for Compliance and QA specialists. This role requires effective leadership, strong organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and quality management practices. To coordinate compliance activities, implement quality assurance protocols, and ensure consistent adherence to policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Assign tasks completed on time, monitor progress, and ensure team members meet performance expectations. • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting accountability and professional development. • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS, IDPH, IDOA, DHS, DFS and general home healthcare standards. This may include, but is not limited to, the standards and documentation requirements as established by: Medicare, Medicaid, IDHS, DMH, DOA, DOL, DORS and/ or DCFS. • Conduct internal audits and ensure the team performs compliance checks accurately and efficiently. • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures. • Lead quality assurance initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care. • Conduct quality audits, analyze findings, and guide the team on corrective actions. • Implement improvements based on audit results and compliance reviews. • Train and mentor team members on compliance protocols and QA best practices. • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss updates, challenges, and progress. • Ensure continuous education on regulatory changes and quality management. • Prepare comprehensive compliance and quality reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Maintain accurate records of audits, corrective actions, and staff training. • Ensure team members maintain thorough documentation of all compliance activities. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field. Experience: • Minimum of 3 years in compliance and quality assurance, preferably in a home healthcare setting. • Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role is preferred. • Proven ability to manage small teams and coordinate compliance activities. • Experience in home healthcare compliance is highly desirable. • Quality Assurance and Compliance years of experience in Medicare-certified home health agencies. Expert in OASIS accuracy, Medicare Conditions of Participation, clinical documentation auditing, and QAPI development. Proven track record of reducing deficiencies, improving documentation quality, enhancing survey readiness, and leading performance improvement initiatives. Skilled in training clinicians, conducting root-cause analysis, and ensuring regulatory integrity across multidisciplinary teams. Results-driven QA/Compliance Specialist with deep expertise in Medicare home health regulations, survey preparation, and quality improvement. Adept at managing QAPI programs, implementing corrective action plans, and strengthening operational compliance. Known for improving audit outcomes, advancing organizational performance through data-driven oversight and team collaborative . Skills: • Strong leadership and team management abilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with healthcare compliance software and documentation systems. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
