If you enjoy staying busy, solving problems, anticipating needs, and making an entire team more effective — we want to meet you. ________________________________________ CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide operational and administrative support to partners and professional staff • Answer and direct calls; relay accurate messages • Greet and assist clients with professionalism and warmth • Schedule client meetings and manage partners’ calendars • Scan, organize, and maintain documents and records • Prepare and type financial statements, correspondence, and other documents • Maintain client lists and profile information • Keep office supplies and materials organized and stocked ________________________________________ TAX SEASON–SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Process tax return packages from start to finish • Coordinate DocuSign workflows and track completion of client signatures • Manage e-filing submissions for federal and state tax returns • Monitor acknowledgements and follow-up on rejections or outstanding items • Ensure all tax documents, deliverables, and checklists are accurately prepared, organized, and routed • Support accountants and partners with high-volume, deadline-driven tasks • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy with sensitive client information ________________________________________ SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & TRAITS: • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Willing and able to learn new software quickly • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Exceptionally organized and able to prioritize effectively • Strong attention to detail — accuracy is essential • Flexible with hours during peak tax deadlines • Superior written and verbal communication skills • Able to work independently and take initiative • Excellent follow-up and follow-through • Able to adapt to changing priorities and anticipate office needs • Knowledge of bookkeeping practices is a plus • A genuine desire to provide high-level support to partners, associates, and clients Prior experience in a public accounting firm is preferred but not required. ________________________________________ WHAT WE OFFER: A unique, fun, and flexible working environment, a team that values your contributions, and a benefits package including competitive salary, 401(k), and health insurance.
