Summary The Lead Production Associate supports SAI Infusion Technologies by performing hands-on product fabrication, assembly, and quality checks while helping guide and support the Production team. This role requires attention to detail, strong hand skills, reliability, and the ability to train others on techniques and processes. The Lead acts as a resource for daily production flow, quality standards, and problem-solving on the floor. Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive; additional duties may be assigned.) Production & Quality • Follow and enforce all SOPs, policies, and safety procedures. • Fabricate, assemble, inspect, label, package, and document products to exact specifications. • Perform QC inspections of raw materials and finished goods. • Operate production equipment (e.g., belt sealer, glue machine, suture station, microtube filler). • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with SOPs. • Identify and report quality issues immediately. • Pull, count, and document inventory; notify supervisors when stock is low. Leadership & Training • Train Production Associates in new and existing techniques. • Sign off on training logs in a timely manner. • Help evaluate work quality and provide feedback to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Communicate issues, delays, or material concerns to supervisors promptly. • Support new product development and assist on special projects as needed. Documentation & Process Improvement • Accurately complete all production records and logs. • Research tools, materials, and training resources that may improve processes. • Identify process deficiencies and support improvements. • Support Quality Management and provide input on SOPs or procedural changes. Qualifications • Strong hand/eye coordination; able to work with fine tools (tweezers, blades, micro-components). • 1–2+ years production, assembly, or lab experience preferred. • Experience using a dissecting scope a plus. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to learn and teach new techniques quickly. • Positive, professional attitude and strong communication skills. • Ability to sit or stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs. • Must be reliable and punctual. • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
