Job Title: Team Leader Location: RWJUH Somerset Department Name: Environmental Services Req #: 0000220007 Status: Hourly Shift: Day Pay Range: $16.96 - $19.35 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: Support Aide Leads are responsible for supervising, cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the manager in charge. They must complete tasks like vacuuming, emptying trashcans, dusting, high dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning, sweeping and mopping patient rooms, bathrooms, nurse's station, hallways, stairs, elevators, floor care projects and room setups as needed. At the end of every shift, leads need to submit an end-of-shift report. Qualifications: Required: • Every other Weekend • Every other Holiday Preferred: • One to two years as a housekeeper or service worker preferred, • Command of English Physical Functions: • Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods • Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 lbs • Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requires special clothing or safety equipment. Scheduling Requirements • Day Shift, 6:30am - 3:00pm • 40 Hours per week • Full Time Essential Functions: To provide housekeeping/cleaning service that will support the highest possible level of cleanliness and sanitation for the department; provide exceptional service to internal and external customers; maintain an orderly and attractive environment throughout the facility in accordance to RWJ standards.
